It is called Tru Fuel Engineered Fuel, lasts much longer, and helps prevent maintenance issues. Change the oil every 20 hours of operation. Use only 4-cycle SAE 10W-30 engine oil. Synthetic oil is not necessary. Remember to fill the pump with water before starting the engine and check the oil level. Exercise the pump 2-3 times a year to ensure everything functions properly. To test and exercise the pump, put only a few cups of gas in the tank to prevent the fuel from sitting for long periods. Only fill the gas tank when it is likely to be used soon to protect your property. This is much easier than draining old gas from the tank and disposing of it. When preparing the system for storage, run the engine out of fuel by turning off the fuel valve and letting it run until the engine stops.
